For the boys...

Julien and I have been planning a huge shopping trip and trying to decide between Paris or London for the store. I was lucky enough to find a man who loves clothes and shopping almost as much as I do,,,but he is far pickier and has far less choices. On previous vintage trips to Seattle and San Francisco it was near impossible for him to find anything he liked where as I was about ready to walk out with numerous bags at each shop we went into. We really want to put an emphasis on mens clothing at Voodoo Moonshine but were having troubles looking for inspiration on things to buy so I started researching typical mens wear and realized it was is all a little too dandy for us. I discovered the biggest problem we have is that French Men have more options in clothes than American Men and can pull most of it off with elegance,,,but the vast majority of American men would look extremely gay trying to copy (I will not mention anything in particular save *coughcoughscarfabuse*). In France I've mostly noticed the  Chelsea Boots, Albert Camus and standard Pea Coat Trenches, but hoping to see what London has to offer men. Wish us luck!!!

While researching though I had to take the time out to pay homage to some of my favorite men of style, I love it when a man dresses like a man and any form of trying too hard is rather repulsive. It could be my father and brothers influence as strong Southern American boys, but if I could make my own male barbie to dress and design, these would be my inspirations. Waylon, Leon, George, Devendra and Bruce,,,god bless.

Devendra, George, Bruce, Waylon, Leon.... god bless.
